11. Are scholarships paid to students?

At the Abkhaz State University, 4 types of scholarships are paid:

  • State academic scholarship , amounting to 1000 rubles. Paid to full-time students, payment condition: successful passing of the session without debts as "excellent".

  • State social scholarship, amounting to 1000 rubles. Paid to full-time students, payment terms: social scholarships are received by children from large families, the disabled, orphans, children who do not have a father or mother, as well as students from families with incomes below the subsistence level or if the parents are non-working pensioners. To confirm the right to a social scholarship, you need to submit the relevant certificates to the university administration.

  • Personal scholarships ranging from 1500 to 3000 rubles. Paid to full-time students, payment condition: successful completion of the session without debts as "excellent". There are nominal scholarships at each faculty of the university.

  • Scholarship from Aquafon GSM, amounting to 2000 rubles. Paid to full-time students, repatriate students.

The dormitory of the Abkhaz State University provides places for temporary residence to those in need of housing:
